I am a philosopher at Rutgers University. I work mostly in the philosophy of mind and philosophy of language, as well as a bit of metaphysics, metaethics, epistemology, and decision theory. I was an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin, then spent a while backpacking around trying to decide what to do with my life before going to graduate school at the University of Colorado and then MIT. Before coming to Rutgers I had positions at Western Washington University, the Australian National University, and the University of Michigan. I’ve been a visiting fellow at Arché (at the University of St. Andrews) and at the ANU.
